Danuna Glass gifwares are fun, individual, quirky, beautifully made and a pleasure to behold. Catherine's own hens wondering about her garden were the inspiration for The Pecking Hen. She was amused by the way they danced while scratching about in the grass. The legs of this glass hen are made of copper and are free to move in the frame (25cm x 25cm). The Pecking Hen now comes bordered by a crimson red mount. The Penguin is an amazing bird. A quick drawing one day lead to the beginning of this little fellow. Catherine adores this mighty bird, its stance and its waddle. Frame 25cm x 25cm. The Penguin now comes bordered by a vibrant yellow mount.

We are so lucky to have the Puffin on our shores, an eccentric bird and so colourful. Made of opaque and iridised glass, this piece now comes bordered by a Prussian blue mount. Frame 25cm x 25cm. This Nativity Scene original from Danuna Glass would make a beautiful centre piece for a table, display for a mantelpiece or display for a window. Each curved scene is created by using only three pieces of glass for each of the three figures, in three complementing colours. A thin glass border frames the peaceful scene. Sitting on the banks of the River Suir in Tipperary one hot summer's day, Catherine spotted a dragonfly resting on the reeds. Its fabulous colours made lustrous in the sun.
